Mehmet qualified as a solicitor in the UK in 2004 and as a lawyer in Turkey in 1995.  

 

He worked in both Turkish and UK firms on a multitude of commercial and corporate transactions before founding Regnum Solicitors in 2008. He is a business lawyer with extensive expertise in a variety of transactional instructions including the sale and purchase of commercial and residential real estate properties, and the sale and purchase of private aircraft and yachts. 

 

He is also a renowned and well-respected legal practitioner in a wide range of corporate and financing transactions including corporate acquisition, project financing and refinancing, sale and lease back transactions, company establishment and reorganisation, joint ventures, partnerships, shareholder agreements and corporate governance.

 

Mehmet acts for a diverse range of clients, including a vast number of high-net worth clients, entrepreneurs, and medium and large corporate clients active in a variety of industries such as energy, mining, shipping, banking and property. He advises his clients at each step of their business; through inception to completion of new projects, financing, and establishing sales and distribution networks in various regulated markets, contributing to their success with his business minded approach to legal matters.
